WE CAN and WE DID … The President of the United States of America is a Black Man!!
We are collectively responsible for this monumental achievement.
Imagine how much more we can accomplish together. I am hopeful about the change we create in our communities. We just have to keep the energy going.
We all need to put in some time to make a difference; volunteer to tutor, mentor, train, support and give-back. These things work … they work slowly.
Consequently, I wonder (out-loud) how do we create a pipeline for the transfer of useful knowledge, which operates as fast as the pipeline for a new dance, or the new slang?
I don’t yet know the answer to this question; I simply hope through interaction and experience we will learn together.
Of course sometimes, I just need to vent … which could very well be the catalyst for a truly great exchange of ideas and solutions!
In aiming for the former, and wishing for the latter, our expectations are reasonably managed; and we can focus on movin’ forward!
